During the investigation, the investigator will verify that all of the information contained in your application is accurate and complete. They will also confirm that you have met all of the eligibility requirements for obtaining a license. Once the investigation is complete, and everything is in order, you’ll be issued your Florida lottery license.

Renewing Your License 

Once you have your license, you’ll need to renew it every year. The good news is that it can all mostly be done online. Just log in to the Florida Lottery Commission website with your account information, and you’ll be able to renew both licenses with just a few clicks.

Of course, there are fees associated with your lottery license, as with a liquor license and any other you may have. Be sure to make these payments in a timely fashion so as to not put yourself in jeopardy of losing them.

Be sure not to confuse lottery licensing with Florida’s annual liquor license lottery, where the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation’s (DBPR) Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco runs a lottery to award a set number of quota liquor licenses in different counties, depending on population growth in each county. This lotto typically begins in the Fall and only costs 100 dollars to apply!
